Hi, I had my first IUI a couple wks ago & I'm waiting to see if it worked by this weekend. If it didn't I was going to have IVF next, but my timeline to move to HK (end June) may conflict w/the timing of the procedure & might not be able to go thru w/it in USA.
Would I be able to pick-up where I left-off in HK w/o having to go thru all the tests again? I could bring copies of my medical records if that would help.
Any idea? Suggestions?

Hi

U can check old threads where IVF/IUI is discussed or u can check the Directory and u will find the list of Doctors. No idea who much it will cost here with a private Doctor. Do bring all your tests reports with u to HK as it will help the dr understand your medical history Sorry couldnot be of great help

Take care

I've heard it costs close to HK$80K. I went to the Lab last week for a SA for my husband and I noticed a Price List on the wall. IVF is $25K and that's just the lab work. I guess the injections and Dr's Fees is another $40-50K. Can anyone confirm?

Tks for the reply, we are leaning towards doing another round of IUI in the US. Then fllw-up w/IVF in HK, if necessary. It's just too much stress to try to do it here in the US w/the big move & all. Our health insurance in the US covers these processes so I'm hoping the coverage will transfer overseas - crossing our fingers. We thought it would be less expensive to have IVF in HK vs. US.
Any further advice/input is well appreciated!
