can anyone tell me if we can electively choose C-section in public hospitals and in general wards.do they allow n respect our choice.also what would b the charges of C-section in QE hospital.can we tell beforehand that we want c-section.also do anyone hv any experience of elective c-section in qe .i m eager to know this as i intend to register this wk.also can we choose the hospital or they allocate according to area.bye
 
i had what they termed to be an "elective-c" but there were valid medical reasons behind my request.

however, they do not allow you to just "choose" a c-section. there needs to be consultation between you and the doctors and a valid medical reason behind it.
 
As far as I know, if you've had a previous C-section, then you can go for elective C-section. As Cara mentioned, I don't think they would perform a C-section unless your (medical) situation calls for one.
