Interesting places to visit for kids in UK?

We will be taking our 3 kids (6yo and 3yo twins) to England in July for nearly 4 weeks. I will be staying w/ family in Berkshire. I want to plan some day trips. We will be renting a car during our holiday. Any suggestions on what attractions we can visit?

BTW, I know there's loads to do in London, but I'm thinking of outside of London. Thanks!
 
Legoland, Thorpe Park, Woburn (safari), Longleat - all slightly depending how far you want to travel. Windsor Castle and Great Park are beautiful too.
