Info. regarding intial pregnancy test.

Hi,
we are indians staying in hongkong for the past one year. I need to take initial pregnancy test(urine test). I need some info regarding this. Till how many days i have to wait to take the urine test. One of my friend told that we have to wait for atleast 45 days to take this test, before that doctors in HongKong wont take the test I want to know whether we can go on 40th day to take the test. What is the minimum no. of days we have to wait to take this test.
 
You can buy a home pregnancy test from Watsons. It should be on the shelves, there's Clearblue and the generic brand. They are pretty accurate. If you've already missed your perioid, go out and get a kit. Don't forget to take photos of you holding the result. I've got mine in my baby book.

Thankyou rani for your good suggestion of taking snap. Just now came home with the kit from watsons. Thinking of taking the test tomorrow morning. We have maternity insurance and we will be here till april and will go back to india by april. So i need to consult a doctor till april only. Can you give me a suggestion of which doctor can i visit. From the list of doctors you gave, we selected Dr. Ho, Dr. Chan and Dr. Amella Wong. Who among them is best? Or is there any Indian doctor whom you recommend

All the Drs have been discussed by members. There's only one Indian Dr that I know of and that's Dr Ghosh. His contact info is also in our directory.

Also, pop down to yr local pharmacy and get some folic acid. Very important in the fist trimester.
