I am thinking of getting the Peg Perego Primo Viaggio Infant Carrier, but I was told by the saleswoman at the store that infant carriers are NOT allowed on airplanes?

Is this true? Or is the Primo Viaggio not allowed on airplanes?

Thanks. :)

I don't think any carrier is allow inside the cabin. If you are travel with an infant, book a bassinet for him/her. Your travel agent could do the booking for you.

there are quite a few carseats that are small enough to fit onto a plane. just double check with the airline that you'll be travelling with on the width of the seat and then check the width of the carseat that you're interested in.

I have a Primo Vaggio car seat and we used to take it with us during trips (bub's now too big to fit in) and we never had problems with the airlines.
