Indonesian Post-Natal Massage & Wrap

I just had 14 sessions of Indonesian Post-Natal Massage and Wrap (6 weeks after delivering by C-Section in August) with a HK lady called Maygi. She was introduced to me by my Lactation Consultant.

I was skeptical at first but after the sessions, I'm very pleased with the results. In any case, it is as close as I can get to a real Malay or Indonesian "urut" unless I want to fly back to Indonesia/Malaysia/Singapore. It's pretty effective - I can see a real difference within the second session). I think she studied her 'art' from an Indonesian. In my opinion, it's not 100% original traditional Indonesian Post-Natal Massage and Wrap but it's pretty close! Also, she uses chinese herbs and ginger rather than the Indonesian Jamu (which I much prefer). But she does house calls which is a big plus for me!

Her name is Maygi Ng. Her number is 9273.3304. I know that her office is in Central but she does house calls, depending on the location. I have to pay her more per session though (for transportation costs).

By the way, my stomach felt really itchy if I wear the wrap too long. I took mine off the next day, before I shower and prepare for the massage session. However, if it gets really itchy before that, I'll take it off to let my skin breathe. Luckily, I didn't have any rashes during the two weeks, just sporadic itchiness now and then.

P.S. The therapist told me that it is a whole body reduction (shaping) but the main difference for me (discernible) is my tummy and the skin in that area. Not so much on my thighs or buttocks.

hi Sage,

thanks so much for the contact! Glad to hear she does housecalls - how many sessions would you recommend and how much appx. was each housecall session?

I did 14 sessions (as recommended by the therapist). In M'sia/Singapore, it's usually for just one week (7 days). Some people do 10 sessions. Personally, I think the first few times were the most effective. If I had to do it again, I think I'll choose either 7 or 10 times.

I paid $850 for each session (including transportation costs).

Hi Sage,
Can you kindly let me know her phone number? And charges?
Thank you

wow this sounds all very interesting! When should you start having the massage sessions? Right after the delivery or a few weeks/months after?

Thanks
