i'm wondering if anyone has tried painting the ikea bunk bed meant for little kids--i.e. the wooden one with very small headroom on lower bunk? i'd like to paint ours, not sure how to go about it (do i need to sand?)
Ok, I'm no expert. But I don't think you need to sand it, as its already smooth. Definitely clean it with a wet cloth to remove any dust etc. And then paint away. Did you buy the paint from Ikea?
