If take Taxi back home with new born? Do I need to arrange Baby Capsule?

Hi All,

I am curious if I need to arrange baby Capsule while returning back to home with my new born baby. I am planning to take Taxi back home. And I do not want to buy it for one time use ONLY.

Any advice!
 
There are no baby car seat laws in HK. They're simply recommended. So it's legally fine to hold your child when taking a taxi.
 
I debated the same thing. In the end I bought one because I couldn't imagine how I would feel if something were to happen on the drive home. We ended up using the car seat several times for taxi trips to the mchc and my son really liked sleeping in it, so it was a handy place to put him in the early weeks.

there are places that you may be able to rent it from.... try the toy library/rental or the YMCA/YWCA.
