Hypoallergic baby having a hard time sleeping through the night

Hi, my son just turned 6 months and we've started solids twice a day with him. He has eczema and we have been feeding him with hypoallergic formula since he turned 5 months (after I've stopped BF him then). My question is he seems to have a hard time staying asleep at night. After his full feed at around 8pm, he can sleep until mid-night, and then he would wake up every 2 hours, drink about 2 oz of milk before he falls asleep again. What can I do to help him sleep through the night? We even try to put a little scoop of rice cereal into his milk before bed hoping that his full belly will help him stays asleep.
Any mom with a similar experience? Grateful for any advice you can share with me here.

I am certainly no expert but it sounds like baby is thirsty. I'm not even sleeping through the night in this weather as I wake up thirsty and need a drink of water once or twice. It really doesnt sound like he is hungry as taking so little is more like thirst quenching.

hi, your son might be teething as well. when my daughter was around 6-7 months old, she woke up also about every 2 hours in the night.. just something to consider :teeth:
