Husband buying pram in HK - which models available ?

Hi all,

I am moving to HK from the UK, when my baby is born in June. My husband is already there and he is going to be buying some of the baby stuff including a pram.

What I'd like to know is if any of the baby shops have catalogues (paper or online) so that I can have a browse and some say in which pram I end up with !

I have seen some brands that look interesting here in the UK (eg. Quinny, Bugaboo & Silver Cross), but don't know if HK shops will stock these or the same models from these brands.

Any advice very much appreciated.

Many thanks.

Vix, one of the main shops that supplies baby kit in HK is Bumps to Babes. It is run by an English couple and they import lots of stuff from the UK. I am almost certain that they have all of the models that you've mentioned in stock. He should check them out sooner rather than later though in case they need to order anything special. They have a website (www.bumpstobabes.com), but it's not exactly comprehensive. They have stores in Horizon Plaza, Ap Lei Chau and in the Pedder Building in Central.

Your best bet for an online search is Mothercare. They have a few little stores here and you can order pretty much anything that you can get from their UK stores. The catalogue is amost exactly the same as the one that gets sent to my London address. Again, sensible not to leave it until the last minute in case things have to be ordered from overseas.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

buy from uk

I would suggest buying as much as you can from UK especially if your husband's company is shipping your items over.

Thanks very much everyone, I am sending him on a mission to Bumps to Babes this weekend !
