how to soften fit flop strap?

I bought a pair of fit flops during my pregnancy to wear after the birth (well, anything helps to keep fit right?) but only after once in them i've blisters between my toes like i've never had before!

anyone have any suggestions or secret tips or techiques to soften the strap between the toes? I dont' want to toss the fit flops, as they didn't come cheap...

:thanks

my mum used to do this trick with all my new shoes -- she rubbed coconut oil in the sides - places where you would usually expect a shoe bite... and keep it for the night...by morning when I wore em -- they were soft as heaven..

you can get transparent gel insoles specially designed for flip flops. there is a gel bit which fits around the strap aswell. it takes a bit of getting used to but it doesn't rub. i got my pair from watsons last year.

cha cha they don't sell the gel insoles for flip flops anymore? I tried watsons and the lady said they don't sell them.

i bought mine last september (tung chung mtr branch).

once stuck onto the flip flop, they won't slide or fall off but you can still peel them off.

give me a day or 2 to pop down to see if they have them anymore. will post result here.

thanks cha cha! I'll keep looking!

they also dont' sell coconut oil in smaller amounts, so i haven't tried that route yet... didn't want to get a great big bottle just for the fit flops...
