Loosing weight

I found Weight Watchers to be the very best for not feeling hungry in combination with 'Thermogenic' fat loss pills available from gyms and health food shops, please read the contents though some have stimulents and not good for the nervous system but they do work.

losing weight

Have you consider to consult a dietitian. I am doing it right now! We usually have weekly consultation in which the dietitian will weigh me, check my body fat profile and give me the menu/recipes for the coming week. With regular exercises (swimming is a good one), some of my friends lost up to 20kg after 4 months. it's worth a try.

Hi! Kimmi,

I'm interested in the Thermogenic weight loss pills, but are they safe? Will they affect the heart and contain medicine that need a doctor's prescription?

After my child's birth, I've gained 16 pounds. I soon lost 6 pounds in a month by cutting on my diet and eating baguette with eggs, tomatoes and mayonnaise (very small portions of everything) for breakfast and lunch. For the remaining 10 pounds, I lost them twice when I was under much stress and workload and regained them again. These days, I put up 4 pounds in just a couple of days. Yesterday, I bought a can of rice cereal for baby and ate it with milk for lunch. I've lost 2-4 pounds today. I've learnt this trick from a local magazine.

Try eating high fiber cereal with nonfat/lowfat milk or yogurt and fruit for breakfast. It's healthier for your body and heart.
For lunch and dinner, try to pile up on veggies (fill half of your plate with veggies, 1/4 with protein and 1/4 with carbohydrate).
If you're still breastfeeding, try to lose weight between 2-4 pounds a month as the toxin can be released into the milk if you lose more than that.

Hi Valencia
Good Thermogenic Fat Loss pills are ok short term as long as your healthy, proberly ask your GP before using them, they do sometimes make you hypers especially if you drink coffee, but I never felt hungry on them and lost heeps.

Thank you so much everyone !!!! :flower:
Kimmi, What do you do in the Weight Watcher programme? Do you have to do gym? and does it include sessions with dietition as Leungpapamama suggested? How much is the programme?
Meanwhile, I am going to try stuffing myself with baby cereal suggested by Valancia! Hope it works for me!

Losing Weight

I did WW in the UK and thought was great because it was no pressure. You go in get weighed and you can stay for the meeting if you wish and you can take your kids with you too. I found WW very easy to follow and healthy. There's lots of support in the group too. There's even programs for breast feeding mother's. In HK ph 2818 6602 for your closest meeting or log on to their website. :gl:

Has anyone tried to doing the South Beach Diet? My metabolism was high when I was nursing and I lost all the weight plus more. Once I stopped the weight slowly crept up on me! AIYA! Heard lots of success stories with South Beach, wondering if anyone has tried it.

The 3 Hour Diet

Tried South Beach Diet for about 2 weeks. South Beach Diet is great if you have a lot of time on your hands wondering what to eat next, what to whip up dinner, dessert etc...in other words, you'll spend more time thinking about food than anything else unless you have your own personal chef in your kitchen. Lost a few pounds but couldn't cope up with having to cook for my twins & then myself separately, just too much work! Plus I love carbs - hard to ditch that even for 2 weeks during Phase One.

The new buzz is The 3 Hour Diet by Jorge Cruise. Nothing is off limits, you'll lose around 2lbs per week but you'll have to eat every 3 hours (Now isn't that nice?) The whole theory is that once our body goes into starvation mode, it'll start to burn muscle tissues instead of fat. We need to time our eating routine so that we graze enough to keep your metabolic rate high thus enabling the body to burn fat instead of muscle. Cruise insist a moderate amount of carbs sustain energy & prevents 'mood swing'. I totally agree. Nothing is off limit, McDonald can be a meal, oreos a snack & M&M's, chocs as treats. What I like so far is its' simplicity. I can also time & share the food & snacks (healthy ones, of course) with my kids & best of all I have the energy to keep up with my 20mths toddlers. Yoga

Yoga is the best exercise to lose weight after delivery. I tried when my daughter was 10 month old and got rid of 12 pound within 3 monthes. I never watched what I ate but I ate less naturally and prefered to veggie after I practised it. It takes me half an hour every other day and makes me feel so good.

Hoodia pills

Has anyone tried Hoodia weight loss pills? Does it work? Is it safe? What are the side effects? By the way, does GNC have its own shop in HK? Thanks.
