How to find an agency for babysitters?

I am planning ahead and wants to know how easy/difficult it is to find an agency to recommend babysitters for me please? I know there are lots of babysitters around, but I feel better if I am hiring from an agent...

Are there any agents which offer a short notice booking and by the hour?

I have never used them but http://www.rent-a-mum.com/ do everything from short notice evening and daytime babysitting to live in nannies.
