how to compute vacation leave?

Hi,

My helper had resigned, how do i compute her vacation leave if she had worked for 1 year and 4 months? 1 year = 7 days. How about the 4 months, how much should i give her? thanks.
 
I usually work it out exactly - 7/365 then * the number of days she has worked that year. So if she worked Jan through end of April, for example, that is 120 days, so the calculation is: 7/365 = 0.01917808 * 120 = 2.3 days. Then just round it up...or not...depending on your relationship.
