How soon can I expect my helper to get here from the Philipines?

We put in the paperwork today and my doc will send a letter that I am in dire need of help ASAP. How long is an urgent visa turnaround? Anyone BTDT?
 
Should be around 4-6 weeks. Once you receive the card from immigration with your case #, fax the Director of Immigration a letter explaining your situation and request him to expedite the paperwork.

It took them around 5 weeks to process my application. I submitted my application early so I was not too concerned. You can write them a letter, stating reasons why you need your helper asap and requesting them to speed up the application. Good luck!
