Hi

Wondering how much formula milk a 7 month old baby should be drinking per day.

I give my baby 180ml bottles every 3 hours (6 bottles a day) but sometimes he is still hungry and wants more / or will be wanting to be fed again after an hour.

Thanks

Assuming your baby is healthy, as much as he wants.
Which isn't meant to sound sassy, but every baby is different and any 7 MO rule would just be an average and your baby might not be the average.
Only your doctor can tell you if it is some sort of medical condition driving the hunger, but it is more than likely just hunger driving the hunger. A little boy has to eat!

Hi, I agree with Sleuth. My son ate more than the other kids is age by far. Have you started baby food with him yet? Baby cereal might be good to start after his bottle.

I am a pediatric dietitian from Canada. Assuming that the infant is growing adequately, we usually base the amount to give on their weight. It is usally 100-120 kcal/kg. If you are good at math, formula and breastmilk have 67kcal/100ml. Just calculate the amount he is eating times it by .67 and ten divide by his weight. If it comes out between 100-120kcals/kg you are right on track. (Another big indicator if he is growing adequately)

Hope this helps
