how much does your baby eat?

My five month old has just started solids and though he doesn't like rice cereal he loves pureed vegies, chicken etc. I'm curious to know how much other babies of a similar age eat as he cries furiously for more every time i feed him. We give him the equivalent to three quarters of a jar of baby food twice a day. He's a pretty big baby so maybe i should give him the whole jar?

My baby is 14 mionths now.He eat one jar of fruit and half bowl of cereal in a day when he was 6 months old.he was prety big too.Babies are very eager to eat solids at this age.

Lucky you, Touch wood. Our son has no interest in eating he just wants to play the wholeday. I would suggest let your child decide. If he wants more then let him eat. Our doctor says that let the baby decide what and how much he wants to eat.
