How long does your 5 months old baby sleep?

I have a 5 month old baby and she seems to be sleeping all the time during the day. I work in the morning only and when I go home in the afternoon, no matter what time, she is always on her bed sleeping. Even in the mornings, when I check her on the webcam, she is sleeping too.

Is she that tired? Or bored? I have a helper looking after her and I suspect she puts her to bed all the time so she can get on with her own work.

Please advise. Thanks.
 
When my baby was 5 months old, she slept 13 hours on average per day....2 long naps (1-2 hours) and 1 short nap (under 1 hour) and evenings she'd pretty much sleep 9-10 hours....basically she was only awake to fed and then sleep, wake up to fed and then sleep....it's nice to have a good sleeper since they grow the most when they are sleeping...don't worry and enjoy now cause my daughter is 9months old now and doesn't like to nap as much now since she knows there are better things to do! :)
 
My baby is almost 5 months now. He sleeps about 10 - 12 hours at night, during the day he only sleeps 1.5 - 3 hours. Every baby is different, sometimes I wish he sleeps more so I can get more work done!
 
How is she sleeping at night?
If you`re worried about how long she is sleeping during the day, ask your helper to write down the sleeping times. Then you can check on her webcam to make sure that they correspond.
My baby is 5.5 months. He sleeps about 11 hrs at night, waking up for feeds (too often), and during the day about 3-4 hrs in total (usually many catnaps).
You might just have bad timing of when you look at the webcam and come home. Check with the helper.

Fortunately she sleeps well at night, in bed at around 10 and wakes up just before 8.

Yeah, maybe just bad timing when i look at the cam or come home.
