It took us around a year and half. We started using the ovulations kits but in the end, it took a three week holiday to get the job done!

Conceived 3 times (1st ended in m/c, 2nd ended in molar pregnancy).
Under the right dosage of Clomid (50mg the 1st time, 150mg the 2nd and 3rd time), it took 1-2 cycles each time.

Conceiving

Hi everyone.. I just want to ask you guys what methods or medication you used to conceive? My husband and I have been trying to do so for a while now and nothing seems to work. My doctor recommended Kegel exercises along with the other methods, but I just don't know...Help?

Ovulation kit worked for us...also,trying not to stress over it too...doesn't happen when you're overly anxious...that's why so many unplanned pregnancies unfortunately, did temp.taking too..bit that was too stressful for us.

Try tracking your periods. I tracked my cycle for several months and conceived on the first attempt, but I think my age was the main factor in conceiving easily.

Wow 1-3 months is the most common! HK must be a fertile place, contrary to local birth-rates! It took us just under 6 months. I was also quite relieved as I was really really expecting a bad time for some reason.

Failed for 3 months and on the 4th month it was successful!:-)

Started with ovulation kits and saw I was ovulating really late in my cycle. That took me 3 months to figure out as I kept stopping using the tests too soon!

So I went to Dr. Troy Sing for acupuncture and herbs for another three months, where he got rid of a whole lot of niggling problems I had and also extended my cycle by 6 days - which meant I was technically ovulating earlier.

When nothing happened after that, I went to Dr. Patrick Chan who put me on Clomid for 5 days and scanned me every few days to check my eggs and see whether I was ovulating or not. On the day he saw the ovum was 18mm, he injected me with Oestrogen (to make sure it dropped on time) and told me to "go home and try". I'm now 6 weeks pregnant.

So, all in all, it took us 12 months!
