How are other parents coping with school and further education costs?

I have a daughter in school and one at university - the costs are outrageous as I not only have to take into account the fees but the cost of living and extra curriculum. The annual rise in cost is "faster than the speed of light." Any parents in a similar boat?

I'm just hoping that my two will prove hopelessly unacademic and so the university question need never come up.

i wasn't smart enuf for scholarships, but i did have a part time job under a professor. the experience proved to be a great advantage when i was ready for the working world.
