Hospital bag

Hello everyone,

Started to pack my hospital bag and hoping to get some advice that I don't miss anything essential. What did you pack for those few days? Is it easier if I use a small suitcase (carry on size)? My husband will be staying with me during those few days so instead of packing two small bags, this might be better.

Do we need to bring newborn nappies ourselves?
I've heard different stories on breastfeeding, some ladies bring their own pump??

Any advice would be appreciated!

If you're giving birth in a public hospital, there's not a lot of place to store a suitcase, so a small bag may be better.
