Hi All

Im delivering at Queen Mary and I am now turning my thoughts to packing my hospital bag. What did you pack in your bag? Anything you wished that you had packed?
Thanks

Hi Sazzy,
A couple of things that help:
airline mask for sleeping- they don't turn lights out till 11pm and they are on again at 6am
cups for drinking.
Food is very ordinary so things like cereal or oatmeal in small packets for breakfast that you can add water or milk to. A small ice cooler or esky is handy for keeping any food in. Phone charger, although they don't like you to plug it in. They provide pyjamas so no need to bring those-may as well use the one thing they do provide.
A towel, thongs or slippers, toiletries and the disposable undersheets.
Probably left off a few things but this should help

things i could NOT live without:
eye patch
ear plugs
flip flops (for the shower)
peanut butter/bread (for snacks)
phone numbers for food delivery companies (and related menus... i just used my laptop!)
laptop/ipod video to pass the time...

i was in so many times and for such long periods, they had no problem with me charging things, so long as i unplugged rather quickly once it was done. i often closed the curtains when i wanted to charge stuff, too, to make it less noticeable.

Socks, slippers, cup, snacks, eyemask for sure like Kathy said. The bedpads, maternity pads, a washcloth. There's a 7-eleven downstairs that has everything you need. Some diapers for baby and some baby wipes.
