Hong Kong Kindergartens and Primary Schools Closed

I was just going to ask the same question, should we AVOID other children??? I've been too busy to read the newspaper this week and had no idea.

its a tough call. i've had my son home all week already as he had a cold and i don't like to be the one spreading germs. his nose has now cleared up and we are going stir crazy here at home. not sure what to do either really....

...maybe just one on one playdates with kids of other parents who are known to be as careful as you are if symptoms arise.

It's hard to decide....I feel if I keep my son away from my friends so I'm overreacting but at the same time I don't want to take any risks!

At the moment I am keeping him away from the indoor playroom...and trying to see if we can have playdates/playgroups outside rather than inside.

We have our playdate at home but I guess if any child is not well the mom will not bring him or her so i wont cancel the playdate

the gov't "requested" that all primary schools, kindergartens and "special" schools (playgroups/tutorial centres) close.

i was planning on opening a playgroup and tutorial centre on Friday, but I have decided to comply with the request.

i would hate for a child to get sick after my playgroup....

my daughter's school is closed. but anyway, she sick as a dog now so she's not going to school. funnily enough, i called Tom Lee, where my daughter has a music class, to ask if the playgroup for 3 yr old are suspended. they informed me that they're still opened & kids have to attend if not they forfeit that class. (?!)
