Is home schooling kids through let's say Primary 1 doable or popular in HK ? If so, is there a home schooling network which supports such moms?

my daughter is 1 year and i am thinking of possibly homeschooling her part time and send her to regular kintergarden PT for social reasons.

is that uncommon?
 
Is there anyway to get connected with other homeschool moms before living in HKG? I was hoping for advice prior to our move the end of July?
