Home pregnancy tests

I am using Clearblue. Does anyone know of a better test to do at home? I've received mixed results with two faint positive lines and then not really showing two lines. I am on CD 38 with cycle average being about 35 days or less. Any tips are welcome! :flower:

Clearblue is one of the best out there
Wait another 3-5 days then test again
sometimes, we test early and the hormone HCG is still not high enough to detect in HPTs
Good Luck!

I liked the clear blue digital ones that either gave you a smiley face (positive) or just a circle (neg). Not sure if you can get them in HK...if not I'm sure you can get the on-line.
ALso...I got about 3 days of negative results before I got my positive! It takes a few days for the HCG hormone to build up...remember that even a faint line is a positive!

I would also reccomend the clearblue.

If you have any doubts about the test go to the Dr., they will be able to do blood test and tell you for sure.

Aside from a blood test from the Doc, Clearblue is pretty much the best you can get.

With my first, i tested 2 days before my period was due, as I was leaving on a trip, and it was negative.
7 days later I found myself in the middle of Borneo, still no period, no way of retesting, and morning sickness kicking in.

By the time I got back to KL it was obvious I was pregnant, and I barely had to wet the test and a blue cross came up as bright as can be.
Must say it was a bit of an anti-climax.

I think the phenomenom of finding out so early is a very new one, if we had the patience to wait a few more days we would all get far less negatives!

Matty-
that's exactly what my doctor says! PATIENCE is a virtue when it comes to testing... but then again, most of us really just can't wait! or find it really hard not to test! hehehehe. He wants me to only take even HPT 10days from day period was due. This will be more accurate he says.
