I'm about to start exploring the world of organised activities for the little one. Right now, he's only source of entertainment is ....ME... which is great for both of us but i really would like for him to have more space to crawl and play.

I've started the following list and will go for some trial classes but if there's any I've missed out, pls let me know.

Thanks!

Rolly Pollies
Panda Junction
My Gym
Gymboree
Kinder Music
Pekip
JWT

I've also heard of a My little gym but dont have any info. does anyone know where they are or if they have a website?

you may mean 'the little gym', not my little gym?

we tried it out, much preferred My Gym, so we signed up for that, which my son (then about 10 months) really loved. JWT is fantastic (amazing open play room, at least the one in tsueng kwan o) but may be too far away for some.

English Adventures in Tsing Yi (sorry, had to plug my own place!) structured play, arts & crafts, story & songs. age 10m+.

u can add kids gallery to your list. i think they have one in belair or u can check them at coda plaza.
how old is your child? because pekip is till 10 months old
baby buddies fun too

the little gym was just not as well run. the instructors were not as peppy and switched-on as the folks at my gym (my son didn't take so well to them), plus the playroom seemed a bit run down compared to the other places we tried out. it's all very individual, so obviously others like them very much since their classes seem to be full.

so to add :

English Adventures
The Little Gym
Kids Gallery
Baby Buddies
Rolly Pollies
Panda Junction
My Gym
Gymboree
Kinder Music
Pekip
JWT

my son is almost 7 mths. I've lined up trials next week at Panda, Kinder .will see how they go!

There's also My Kiddy Gym in CWB which my son really likes. One quick note about going to all these trials - usually if you sign up for a package on the day you go for a trial, you get a discount. So if you go to the trial and then leave without signing up and sign up later, it will usually cost a more. If you want to get the discount, you may want to be a little bit more selective before you go for the trials and go to the one you think you will like th emost first so just in case your little one does like it, you could then sign up with the discount!

thats great advice, didnt know.

Husband and i have both agreed to do 1 activity this year each with baby ONLY so as not to over schedule and over spend. He's already signed up for swimming so I have to only choose ONE out of this very long list! and yes I would like to get the discount. These baby things add up, dont they :0

I want something more physical as son is already crawling and cant sit still so hopefully something where he's got lots of room to crawl, tumble, play is ideal. Panda junction seems well liked by all so right now thats my prefered.

all gyms we tried , our son loved my gym the best. he was there till we left last month and he went there for over 2 years , great people.
