Helper's Boarding House

We are leaving HK and I would like to find a place to stay for my helper for 1 mnth to give her time to transition to her new employer. How do I find out about renting a room in a boarding house for her ? How much does it typically cost ? Do you have any references of such places I can contact. I am pressed for time. We are vacating our flat in 2 weeks and I need to find somewhere for her to put her things and stay.

Sorry I don't know of any, but your helper should be able to find out by asking her friends. I believe there are a few in Wanchai and in Stanley.

Also check "The Sun" a local Filipino newspaper which she can pick up from the stores in Worldwide House. There must be a few ads of boarding houses.
