Hi there
Anyone know where I can buy a cheap-ish bed for amahs room. It's for occasional babysitting rather than full time so am now looking for expensive, super duper comfy one

We bought our helpers bed with them. They can even customize according to your needed dimensions.

We bought a fold-away bed from IKEA and I can't remember the specific price but I think it was about 1500 HKD or something--it really wasn't too expensive--and it folds up into a chair to sit on during the day--is light-weight and stores away easily. We bought the single-sized mattress but they have bigger sizes and a variety of selection in mattress firmness.

We had our helper's bed custom made from Takad Furniture in Wanchai and it doesn't cost much at all. Our maid's quarter is tiny (like really tiny) and we need something custom made. We were never disappointed.

Second Takad. Our helper's room is too small for a standard size bed, so we got a high sleeper + closet + desk for less than $3000. Highly recommend them.
