A question for those of you with experience hiring and employing a domestic helper.
What advice and questions do you suggest a first time DH employer should ask when interviewing candidates? What are some things to look out for to detect if someone is telling the truth or not.
I have a lot of experience interviewing and hiring at my work but never a DH so just want to get some experienced advice and tips (other then just following my instinct, checking references etc.).
If the person is in HK is it ok to ask them to do a trial day? I have a newborn baby so am thinking about seeing how she and the baby interact and how much of a self starter she is. Is that done?
Any advice would help.
