Helper from Thailand needed

Hi,

We are urgently looking for a helper with childcare experience. We would like a Thai helper as we have links to Thailand and will return one day.

If anyone has any advice for finding a Thai helper or any recommendations of Thai helpers, they would be much appreciated.

you probably figured by now that it is not that easy finding a Thai helper. There are apparently only 3000 Thai helpers in HK. Most prefer to go to Korea as the working conditions there are supposedly better.

We were keen to find a Thai helper for much the same reasons as you, but did not have much luck. Explored the possibility of a direct hire from Thailand but it meant hiring her sight unseen, or flying to Bangkok to meet her then process her papers ourselves. In the end we chose an Indon helper.

There are apparently a few agencies in Hk that may help find a Thai DH but I have no idea whether the agencies (or the maids for that matter) are good.

just wondering if you ever found the thai helper you were looking for? if so, do you have leads to an agency that can assist?

my helper will be leaving at the end of the year (she's filipina) and i was hoping to get a thai helper thereafter.
