Helper disappeared??

I granted 2-week unpaid leave to my helper in the middle of our contract period. She was supposed to come back on last Sunday but gave my husband a call that she needed to postpone the return for 3-4 days due to the death of her uncle. Still, she hasn't come back here yet.... It doesn't matter if she comes back or not, since I can get help from others. However, what should I do with the contract with her? just ignore? How about her belongings? Can I just throw them away? Of course I would terminate the contract immediately if she shows up here...

I would call immigration ASAP and let them know that she's disappeared. If you're not interested in keeping her then fax/mail a termination letter to the Dir of Immigration. I'm sure the immigration officer will advise you accordingly.

Re: belongings a friend will probably call and ask if she come and collect them.
