Help with taveling to Sapporo Snow Festival with Two Toddlers

Hello,

We are going to the Sapporo Snow Festival for CNY. Our kids are ages 2 and 5. We've never done a winter trip with the little ones and I'm a wee bit nervous. Would be grateful for any advice on traveling around Sapporo, places to see, places to eat...especially family friendly restaurants.
