HELP - Suspected milk allergy

Hi,

I suspect that my 8 weeks old baby might have milk protein allergy, and I am looking out for a hypoallergenic formula.

She is breastfeed, but once in a while I need to top up with a formula. I have alreday cut out all dairy from my diet in hopes that this might make her feel better.

Can anybody please tell me where I can buy a hypoallerginic (extensively hydrolysed) formula?

Any help or ideas would be much appreciated.

Thanks a lot.

Kind regards
Cecilie

My son who is 18mths has had reactions to formula milk powder since he was about 4mths. He would come out in little red spots on his body and after trying many brands of hypersensitive milk formula, he now drinks Prosobee by Mead and Johnson. It is milk free, lactose free, sucrose free and has soy protein isolate. You can buy this in all supermarkets, Mannings/Watsons and all local chemists.
I hope this helps.

Dear Ceciluci,

If you would like information about how to increase your milk supply so that you no longer need to give formula or information about the possibility of the milk protein passing through your milk to affect your baby please feel free to contact me.
