Does anyone has the same experience please?

I have been noticing there are these very tiny black bugs, bite not only my baby but also myself these days.
Usually the bump appears to be minor for the first day after the bite but gets insanely swollen the day after. and can last for days or weeks and very itchy.

it is very difficult to see the bugs as it is very tiny, i want to protect my baby from being biten again, because she has soo many bumps all over her arms and legs, even face already.

please does anyone has any idea what would be the safe way to keep these crazy bugs away from my LO? thanks a lot.

they are midges/no-see-ums.... not much you can do about them. i've not found anything that works.

I do find that insect repellent helps - but only if you apply it before. There are some creams that are meant to help with the after-effects, but I don't find that they do that much...

The tiny black bugs are midgies. I have found an insect repellent cream that works on my family. It's called Mosi-Guard and can be found in ThreeSixty. Safe for babies and pregnant women. Read about it from their website. If my daughter isn't covered in the cream, she would have 5-6 bites within minutes of being out of the house. We live near the wetlands, so having the insect repellent is a lifesaver. Also, mopiko and mopidick helps if they get you.

Thank you all for the sharing.
Shall buy some insect repellent today. Thanks for the recommendation sharpie-t.Shall see whether it works well for my LO. Guess summer time does come with a lot of bug problems.
