Help my 10 month old chipped his tooth

Hi,

My nearly 10 month old baby boy has chipped his front tooth today - quite badly too in my mummy opinion :(.

I only noticed it tonight as I was getting him ready for bed, and can't think when he's done it as I didn't notice any obvious falls today or cries of pain - he's just started walking in the past week or so, so he has generally been falling a bit though.

There was no blood that I noticed and he doesn't seem in terrible pain. So I thought I will take him to see a dentist tomorrow to have it checked out - but I have no clues on where to take him??

Can someone please recommend a pediatric dentist preferably on the Island - I'm in Pok Fu Lam??

Thanks,
Belinda

Aww, poor thing!

There is Dr. Jennie Tsai (T: 2877-9622) at Coda Plaza. You'll probably have to make an appointment first, though.

There's also Dr. Raymond Lee. Although he's not a pediatric dentist, he does have experience with kids and is quite gentle and reassuring. He's on the 4th floor at Hing Wai Bldg (Coach building, along Queen's Road Central).

Thanks! I've been searching for a few names on here after I posted. I usually search first, but I was a bit frazzled tonight.

What about Dr Denise Giles is she still at the Adventist?

Dr Ray Lee has lots of good recommendations on here.

I went with Dr Denise Giles in the end, and she is now at a practice in Central - not at the Adventist anymore.

For future reference she's at Dr Chan & Partners, Suite 1402, Central Building, 1-3 Pedder St Central.

I highly recommend her, she was great with my baby boy and also helped calm my nerves about it all too!!

Oh yes, I was going to add that in my other post but forgot. She was HK$500 for the consultation and I got a free tooth brush! hehe
