Hi,

I'm a 32-year-old Taiwanese wife with a 2-year-old son living in Hong Kong. I've moved to Hong Kong from U.S. for 2 years due to my husband job. Lately he's been thinking about SEPARATION.......I just need someone to talk to.....please help, I'm depressed.

Mai,

I am so sorry. St John's Catherdal offfer marriage counselling. Another member highly recommends Sharon Glick of St.John's Counselling Service, Tel:2525 7207

Hope she's able to help you both.

It may be worthwhile for you to see a counsellor on your own anyhow, so they can help you think through your options. Very sorry to read about your situation, I hope you can find some friends on this forum or others who've been through similar times.

mai, even if your husband won't attend the session, it's always nice to have someone to talk to, maybe once a week, about how you're feeling & what you'll can do.

i was once in counselling & it really helped. some of my girlfriends also go to couple counselling on their own & it also helped their relationship.

I went to see a family doctor today and got some pills to help me cool down and sleep. I'm doing my best to work things out, I hope he is too.
Geeeeeeee~ I love him so much.

...

Because of my husband's work, I don't get too see him everyday. I've never felt so sad and helpless before........

As a person with background in counselling, I would strongly encourage you to talk with a counsellor. It's better to talk to someone with a professional than to bottle up everything inside. It is hard at times and don't be afraid to ask for help.
