I am desperate! I have really bad hands pain during my last trimester, it was so bad that I cried and cried at night until I was so tired that I fell asleep. Doctors (Gyne and GP) both say I should at most take a couple of panadols and the pain will go away after I deliver my baby. It has been two weeks since I gave birth and the pain is still there. Panadols don't help at all. I really want to hold my baby, but the pain is so severe (especially at night and in the mornings) that I have to sometimes ask someone else to hold my crying baby for me....I have to struggle in order to finish the changing nappies process....when I am breastfeeding, I cant hold my baby close, I have to place him on a pillow...this is all so depressing! Doctors now say that it is common for the pain to subside after one or two months. I cant wait that long, and I am not convinced that the pain will dissapear by itself eventually. Does anyone know what kind of doctor that can help me? Any recommendation will be great great greatly-appreciated!
