Hi

I have used Diprotex on Ally and it is great, you can get it at Watsons and most dispensaries. Also have you tried just leaving the diaper off for a while each day for a bit of airing, I know it is tricky but should also help. I normally just put a shower curtain underneath a blanket or sheet so you don't have to worry about any accidents. Good luck i hope your little one gets some relief soon.

my boy has had it for the past week... he's 6.5 months and it is the first time he's had it...

i did some research on the internet and found that a little good old cornstarch (dry) in a clean dry nappy has done wonders... as has desitin cream... it was so bad on wednesday that i considered taking him to the doctor. that's when i did the looking on the internet... today it's almost gone!

I think Destinin (?sp) is just a brand name for a zinc oxide cream. Could you check your packet please Cara.

yes it is... but some of the nappy rash creams have only 13% zinc(johnson's) and some don't have any(i have two other nappy rash creams with no zinc at all)... desitin has 40%....
