head shaping

My boy is 2.5 years now, and he has an unevenly shaped head, not terribly awkward, but we keep his hair quite short so we can always see that his head shape is not that round.

I am considering osteopath to shape his head so it'd be rounder, but for me at this point, it is purely cosmetic.

My question is, do people go to osteopathy 'just' to round the head? is it completely unnecessary? I've read through a few threads but seems like most people go for 'bigger reasons', like medical reasons or flat heads.

Your thoughts pls?

thx.

i think people go to an osteopath for a variety of reasons. we went to an osteopath during the first 3 months for my son's reflux. she helped release tension in the head and massaged his body...it helped him sleep at night and she was actually the first one to diagnose his reflux.....

We saw a cranial oesteo for head shaping, in addition to a touch of torticollis. she was much younger, but it worked very well.
