if so, what's it like, where did you stay that was in the area of the zooz and main attractions, how much are you likely to spend for the package etc. thanks
 
The Sentosa Island

I've been Singapore around 3 years ago. I won a lucky draw and got a free accomondation on Sentosa Island. There is animal zoo and beach. Sentosa Island is really a nice place for you and your baby.

As I got free accomondation last time, I only spend less than HKD 2500 for a three days trip.

We were there just a couple of months ago. I saw hotel/air packages for 4 days/3 nights for about HKD 3000+ (depending on the hotel of your choice). You can find them on the Cathay Holidays website, Singapore Airline website or through your travel agent.

we find packages are a fairly cheap option. alternatively, look at jetstarasia.com for some great deals on flights.

Hi Shaz, my husband & I just came back from Singapore & we stayed at The Stamford Hotel ( a sister company of Raffles Hotel). It's not near a zoo, but it's very convenient, literally beside a mall, an MRT (mtr) station and is in the "Heritage District". The accomodation is around 220++ SD w/ a great harbour view.

Singapore is warm & breezy. They have a wide variety of food choices (make sure you visit hawkers' centre like Newton Circle), but mostly spicy. And the people are very friendly & speaks english. Enjoy your trip!
 
I have been to Singapore many times and my first time there was back to 13 years ago. In fact, I will bring my 2 daughters to Singapore end of this month for their first trip on plane. I have bought the cheap tickets from CX (HKD 1500 each) and I have booked Ritz-Carlton (my company has a very good corporate rate SGD 199++0 :cheerlead :dance: which is one of the best hotels there. 3 days 2 nites.

I have planned to go to the zoo and bird park (30 mins from town) the next day we arrived. Other than that, we are not planning to Sentosa as my hubby has been there for offsite a few months ago, and thought that the water world there is not as impressive as that of the Ocean Park here. Other than that, we plan to have some local food esp chicken rice as my mom-in-law is coming with us. Then Chilly & Pepper crabs at East Coast or a restaurant called NO SIGN BOARD.

If you are looking for something relaxed, go for high tea in Regent Hotel or Fullerton. The Post Bar of Fullerton is famous.

Anyway, Singapore is small and safe.
