Has anyone tried this HK online store for strollers?

I'm in the market for strollers right now and stumbled into this site: www.mobe.hk

It's apparently a hong kong based online stroller store. The prices seem pretty good but there's not much information on the website so I'm a bit worried it's a scam. Has anyone tried it? Any feedback on the company?

Couple red flags - there doesn't seem to be a phone number to contact them anywhere on their site - so if you have a problem with your product dealing with a refund or exchange may be difficult.

They also have a pretty poor refund policy if THEY fail to deliver goods - which can tie up your cash for up to a month.... "If we cannot deliver the goods you have ordered, we will notify you within 24 hours. The value of the undelivered goods will be refunded to your credit card account within 30 days." That alone would turn me off.
 
Yes I was pretty sure it was a scam. Just saw them today and then saw this post. Figured I would ask.
 
Chances of this being a scam company are minimal. The customisation, work and overall impression of the site makes it obvious there is no chance of it being a straight out scam. It might be a rubbish company but I would say it's definitely not a scam.
 
I'm inclined to agree with NewDad. To me it just looks like a couple of people trying to set up a business who simply aren't very good at it.
 
Thanks for all the opinions everyone! I was really hoping it's legitimate but am too chicken to do a trial order... Have decided to just pay full price for a stroller at an actual bricks and mortar shop.

Thanks for the link. I have heard that there will be a baby expo coming up. So for the mothers out there who are looking for a cheap option, perhaps it's a good time to wait.
 
i was tempted to order a peg perego from mobe.hk due to the huge discount but was abit skeptical about the lack of company information given (despite sending them an email). They have only disclosed that the warranty will be cover by a company licensed in US with no further details provided, that itself sounds rather dodgy to me.

So we decided not to save a couple of hundreds and worry bout the after purchase customer services. =)
 
Legitimate

They are very efficient with their replies and very professional in all issues. - no regrets and have spare change in pocket. Yay. I got an Orbit. Fabulous.
 
I don't think this website is cheap honestly, as I looked at it a few times for different prams/ strollers; when I compared the price to Amazon.com, I realize they're not cheaper than local stores; (mobe ship from US anyways and they take long time same as Amazon)

When I compare the price to local suppliers, it's not cheaper either. Rather buy directly myself from Amazon or local retailers (especial some stores offers generous discount if you have membership)
 
BTW, can you please tell which online stores / websites you are referring to (except the one given on the thread) ??

I am interested in online shopping at Hong Kong and options are very very limited ...
