has anyone delivered at Adventist this year?

would like to know the break up of the delivery cost at adventist. i have seen the brochure but would like to know if there were any overheads or hidden costs. if you could give a break up of your oby cost and delivery cost at adventist will be helpful
 
I gave birth in March of this year at the adventist.

There were no hidden costs - the breakdown was exactly as posted on their brochure. Only out of pocket expense are the meals my husband ordered for himself (he stayed with me the three days I was in the hospital). Btw - their food menu is fantastic.
 
Yes to both questions above. Their vegetarian menu is awesome and this is coming from a steak and potatoes type of girl. My husband and I joke that the Adventist has the best food in HK.
 
Thanks Mingaling. May i know if adventist encourages breastfeeding? And also how are the rooms? is the semi-private rooms good enough? thanks!
 
They do encourage breastfeeding.

I booked a semi private room and they upgraded me to a private room for free. Apparently they routinely do that if there's availability (per my doctor). My room was great. It was spacious and there's a lot of daylight. The medical staff is very helpful and friendly.

Go take a tour if you haven't done so. They don't require an appointment, just a phone call prior. My husband and I were sold on the hospital immediately after our visit.
 
Hi Mingaling, thanks! will wait for your PM. By the way, apologies for the many questions. Are you talking about the HK Adventist or Tsuen Wan Adventist? Or are they the same? Im confused as I am from Singapore.
