Hand Expression

Dear All,

I heard that some people said hand expression if more efficient than using the pump. Can anyone teach me how to do that? Any websites or links showing pictures or video?

My baby Isaac is 3 months old, I want to breastfeed him longer, I really even wake up in the middle of the night to pump though he's sound sleeping.

I was also told that when you do pump, it's good to hand express for a few minutes before and after the pumping.
