Halloween

Did anyone hear of any Halloween events in the streets? Except Ocean Park and Disneyland, I am not sure people are really celebrating Halloween here. I heard there was some kind of activities for kids in Kowloon Park but could not find the information anywhere.
 
halloween is pretty much a north american holiday. i assume that you are looking for something kid-friendly rather than the LKF bar scene.

there are many playgroups etc that have halloween parties (i know we are having one)... as you said OP and Disney will have halloween stuff (but i wouldn't take my kids to the halloween stuff at OP, too scary).

i haven't heard of anything else going on, sorry.
 
Some of the buildings do Halloween. Do you know anyone in Royal Peninsula? I think there's something going on over there.
 
If you can't bring them to Halloween events, why don't you bring Halloween to them?

I really couldn't bring my kid out to DB, OP or Disney as it's too far and too late so I've organized Trick or Treat with two more expat families in our area. I created an event on Facebook (private & by invite of friends only) and printed out a flier. We live in one of those places with several towers in one development and the expat community is very very small so word spread fast & we now have more than a dozen flats to visit & go trick or treating! I've had to type up some reminders/tips as we also have some locals who wanted to join. Great way to meet more people!

Hopefully it's a success & we can make it an annual thing.
