Halloween Costume

Where can I get a reasonably priced weather appropriate Halloween costume for my 7 month old son? I've seen some costumes around that are made with really thick fabric - my son would be so hot in it!! Thanks!

try central... lee yuen west/east street? fabric's not great but you're only going to wear them once or twice anyways...

try Wanchai first. Great price, we found exactly the same stuff, but half the price compared with those you get in Central.

forgotten the name of the street, but it is usually referred as the "Toy street" in Wanchai.

If Central is closer to you, try Pottinger Street. There is basically nothing Halloween in Lee Yuen east/west street.

We went to Wanchai, Lee Yuen east/west street and Pottinger street today for Halloween costume, eventually found the right one in Pottinger street.

good luck.

Hi all

so wanchai is the best place to buy them? can someone please tell me the exact name of the street pls

i am looking for a costume for my 3 years old daughter and i need to buy it today as the school has a party tomorrow (i know i am late).

thanks a lot!

The street is Tai Yuen, and it runs from Queen's Rd East and Johnston Rd. It's one of the streets across from Fat Angelos.

Thanks a million Rani

So is Tai Yuen street better or pottinger street?
i am looking for some cute girlish costume.....
i dont have time to visti both today and will have a stroller with me so please recommend one of the two.

thanks again!

I was in Tai Yuen over the weekend, and to be honest, didn't see that many costumes. If I had to choose, I would go to Pottinger St. Sorry, not stroller friendly.

ok in that case i will go tomorrow morning to pottinger street (after dropping my kid to school but will have to leave by 11 am). do you know what time do these shops/stalls open at pottinger street?

Thanks

If I were you, I would go NOW to Wanchai / Pottinger street with your stroller (Pottinger st is not stroller friendly, but still manageable). If the party is tomorrow and you are counting on tomorrow morning (leave by 11am), that's a bit of a risk. I donno about Pottinger st., but those shops in Wanchai open at around 10:30am.

good luck.

Did anyone see a cat costume for a toddler at Pottinger Street? I know its a tad late to be asking but am hoping i can head straight there & get something, just realised one of our parties had a fairytale theme.

Thanks!!
