Hello all!

I was looking forward to bringing my little one to the AWA Halloween party but Rani said that due to popularity it is closed. The Ocean Park get together seems too much for my guy at seven and a half months old. Any ideas on where to go to enjoy a little Halloween fun during daytime hours? I just want to see some cute kids dressed up and show off my little pumpkin! I have been in HK for five months and am missing my US holidays!! Feel free to PM me at if you know of any happenings that might fit us!!

HK Parkview's event sounds like fun. DOn't know if it is appropriate, however you can check the website-look at Geobaby homepage for event listing.
Also, if you live in a large building, ask the managment/door people about trick or treating. OUr building generally has it. FInally, join a first time mom's group through the AWA so you can plan something for other holidays. www.awa.org.hk

Hi Rani:
Parkview's event is on the 30th. Have you been with D? Is it appropriate for little ones? Please let all know that AWA is fully subscribed.

Hi Joan,

Sorry we had to close the AWA Party early. The response this year has been overwhelming and we've got a smaller venue Do try and join us on Friday at Ocean Park. We're only going to Kid's World Playground. Most kids will be dressed up and the park decorations this year are great!

The event on the 30th at Parkview is a Charity Funfair. I've never been to one, but have heard they're really good. I beleive Parkview will be celebrating Halloween on Monday. All the kids dress up and they have someone standing in the lobby of each tower handing out candy. The kids have a blast, but its really for the older kids.

Hi Rani,

What is the Ocean Park do about on Friday? Which Friday is this on and is it suitable for an 18 month old?

Grace - this thread is from 2005. Have heard Ocean Park's Halloween decorations are amazing again this year. Your 18 months may be a bit too young.
