Hair loss during pregnancy

Has anyone else been losing their hair during their pregnancy? I am at 26 weeks now and have been losing clumps of hair since 20 weeks. I have been tested for thyroid problems but all is fine. Thanks
 
Normally it's another way round which I find annoying. I have very thick hair and it also change its texture too.
 
anyone else having this problem? im having bald patches during preg and am 25 weeks preg! am freaking out now... should i shave :(
 
No don't shave! How is your vitamin intake? Hair loss during pregnancy is rather uncommon. It can be due to a thyroid problem or a vitamin deficiency. I would talk about it with your Dr.
 
i asked the doc about it. he said it's normal for some preg women to go thru it. and shrugged. and told me to continue eating well and take the vitamins. :(:(:(
 
i hope so. im freaking out because i can see 2 bald patches and i used to have very thick hair like a lion's mane. i used to wish my hair wasnt so thick, now i wanna take my wish back!
