Wanting to start a baby class with my 7 month old so that she can have fun and i can meet other mummies. Can anyone offer guidance on whether gymboree or jwtkids gym is better (or something different?). we're just about to finish kindermusic at parkview, and this went down a treat with my little girl, but unfortunately most of the other babies were there with their helper, so no chance for me to meet other mummies.

You should be able to do a trial class at both places and then decide which one your little girl likes.

great minds think alike?

i am thinking about gymboree too!!!!!!!!!!!! just arrived in HK too!!!! Julian is 9 1/2 months! would love to meet up if u are interested! :)

im going to have to agree with meowmeow, panda junction was my favorite. I did trials with a few gyms and to me panda junction was the best!

Hi there,

I am not sure about which program is better, but I am also at Parkview, and I have a 7 month old little girl (as well as a 3 year old boy), and I have found the same issue on meeting other moms, as it seems there are only helpers out with the children.

Would love to meet up for a playgroup sometime, and also if you find out which program is better, please advise, as I would like my daughter to have some interaction with other children her age.

As I've said earlier, we love Panda Juction.

If the website isn't working, perhaps pop into see them? They're at 44 Wyndham Street, 20th floor.

Here's what I know:

The next term starts wb 2 July. Term is 10 weeks and costs HKD2200.

There are groups for ages from 8 weeks to 3+ years. Personally, we're in the "Hedgehog Group" from 6 months - walking. "Walrus" is the next group at walking to 18 months.

They are extremely good about making up for lost classes, so long as you do it within the same month and term.

I must stress I don't work for Panda Juction(!) just doing my best to tell you as much as I think I know!

Hi there,
Just want to say PEKIP is also very very good. The groups are very small and much more personal and really good activities.
I first joined PEKIP, then moved on to Gymboree when my baby grew older.

Panda Junction it is!

Thanks Nicolac. sent an email today and got sent all the info. looks fantastic. we start hedgehogs on 2nd july.

So happy you all liked Panda Junction, I bet the little ones will be so excited every time when they see the Panda. My daughter loved the Panda :)

Have a very active 7mths old son, we have just started Baby buddies (BB) @ Sheung Wan & found it quite good. Has anyone else been to BB, how is it compare to Gymboree, JWTkids Gym or PEKIP (mentioned previously)? Anyone got their contact details, really want to get Alex to join in more activities.
