Great Places for Visitors with Toddlers

Hi Everyone

I wonder if you can help, my sister is visiting me with my twin nephew and neice who will be 17th months, I would really appreciate any advice of great places to take them, Disney and Ocean Park are the only places I know, and also restaurants that are child friendly on HK Island.

There's the Tai Tong Lychee Valley in Yuen Long. I will be going there in a couple of weeks time for my kids' school trip. From the link, there's a lot of activities to keep the little ones occupied.

my son LOVED the cable car ride to Ngong Ping/Buddha... but get there early on a weekday or else you'll be waiting for hours! (before 11am)

My nieces love to go to the Hong Kong Zoological Park in Central everytime they come to Hong Kong. It's free and its a great place for the kids to run around and see the different animals monkeys, birds, jaguar etc. You can walk to the Zoological park from central, it's close to the peak tram station.

Get your hands on a copy of "Hong Kong for Kids" by Cindy Miller Stephens. It is excellent! Loads of activities/places to go and practical advice like whether or not the place is stroller friendly. I don't leave home without my copy!!
But be warned, 'Teddybear Kingdom' has closed down. It is now Sogo. Boo.

There's Kadoorie farm in Tai Po.

Kowloon Park in Tsim sha tsui, nice walk. and they have some birds as well.
