Good OB for ceserrean

Hi there,

I am in early pregnancy with my second baby and looking for an OB experienced in c-session (my ex-ob told me my cervix is simply too narrow for natural birth :-( and suggested me to go with C for my 2nd one as well). We are living in Kowloon, but I am open with any good OB's located in Central.

PS. any suggestions on total cost for pregnancy checkups and c-session would be highly appreciated.

I can recommend Dr Joe Chan in Central, he did my C-section back in December and was fantastic. He has great bedside manner, your never rushed through apointments and he will answer all your questions. I paid $700 - $1000 for each check up and scan. And the cost of the c-section was dependent on the room I selected at the Matilda Hospital.

I recommend Dr. Philip Ho in Central. He did my C-section in January.

He charges about $700 per check up, occasionally a bit above $1000 with tests.

For the delivery fees, you can ask the staffs in his clinic to give you a list.
 
You will need to check the Matilda website for an update on their prices, but I think all up my bill was about HKD$130K. 90% of this was covered by my insurance company.,
 
Hi, Iris, I would recommend Dr Joe Chan in Central. He did my C-section and his surgical technique is very good. I barely felt any pain after the operation and I could walk the next day. My wound was also very good. Below the hair line and can hardly be seen.
Dr Joe Chan is pro-natural. Do see him and see whether you really need a C-section. He also delivers babies in the hospitals in Kowloon.
